Smeraldo apartment

Villa di Moriolo is located in the heart of Tuscany. The family who owns the place with friends makes this stay over expected. Our late arrival caused that we didnt get our rental car. But thats no problem when the mother in the family have prepared a delicious meal when we got there, and one of the sons drove me to Florence the next day so I could get my rental car. Alberto, the father, brought us regular fruits and vegetables from their own garden and Francesco fix everything if there should be something. If you are a larger group, I recommend to book the kitchen in the basement. They cook your choice. You do not go from there hungry. So thank you Francesco, Stefano, Alberto, Federico & mum for a perfect stay!

Per una breve vacanza abbiamo prenotato un appartamento all’agriturismo Villa Moriolo, nella campagna di San Miniato (PI). La scelta si è rivelata azzeccatissima. Il posto è molto bello, tranquillo e silenzioso: la villa è immersa nel bosco e in un’ampia radura è costruita una grande piscina con vista sul paese di San Miniato; l’appartamento, a prezzo più che giusto, è spazioso e luminoso: il tutto è mantenuto con la massima cura e amore. Ma la cosa più importante è l’estrema cortesia, disponibilità e cordialità di Francesco e dei suoi genitori, che gestiscono l’agriturismo. Ci hanno fatto veramente sentire tra amici. Credo proprio che questo diventerà il “nostro” posto, ogni volta che andremo a San Miniato

We had a wonderful week at Villa Di Moriolo. Francesco and his father were very welcoming and helpful and gave us lovely fresh fruit and biscotti on arrival. The apartment was spacious and comfortable and the pool must have the best views in Italy. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back!

Ho trascorso una settimana a Villa Moriolo con la famiglia ed é stata una ottima esperienza. Agriturismo bellissimo!! In posizione strategica per visitare le città ed i borghi toscani, piscina con vista panoramica sulla vallata e proprietario sempre gentile e disponibile,Bellissima vacanza tra relax e storia.

We had this year another fantastic holiday at this beautiful place. This was the third time we came back and it is not the last, we will come back. Wonderful delicate rooms , great pool area and a wonderful view to the surrounding hills and castles. Nice place both to those with young children, youths and parents. Nice to go out in the garden and pick tomatoes, squash and salad for breakfast and dinner, love it :)
